Tajikabad area

Tajikabad area district of Republican Subordination in Tajikistan. The regional center - the village Tajikabad. District established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Tajik Soviet Union from August 12, 1949 by the merger and the Kalai-Lyabiobskogo Haitskogo areas Garm region with simultaneous renaming of the village of Kalai-Lyabiob Tajikabad.

Geography

Tajikabad area is located in the Rasht Valley. In the north-east by Jirgatal area, north-west - Rasht, on the south and west - Tavildara area.
