Sadriddin Aini

Sadriddin Aini (tadzh. Sadriddin Aini real name Sadriddin Said Murodzoda, 1878-1954) - Tajik Soviet writer, social activist and scholar. Stalin Prize winner of the second degree (1950).

Sadriddin Aini was born in 15 (27) in April 1878 in the village Saktari (now Gijduvan district, Bukhara region of Uzbekistan) [1]. Aini was in Bukhara madrassah, was familiar with the prominent intellectuals of Bukhara: Sadri Ziyo, damulla Ikramcha etc.

He took part in the establishment of Soviet power in Bukhara. In Soviet times, mainly engaged in literary pursuits. Constituted the first anthology of the Tajik national creativity "Samples of Tajik literature."

Since 1951, the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic. [1]. Supreme Council of the USSR 3.4 convocation (1950). Aini was among the organizers of the Samarkand State University in 1927, which was then called the Academy.
